Cancellation Policy

No Subscriptions to Cancel
Obsidian does not use subscriptions. There are no recurring charges, monthly fees, or annual contracts. You add credit to your prepaid balance and consume it at your own pace. There is nothing to cancel.
Pause vs Destroy
When you are finished working with a vault, you have two options:
Pause
Stops the GPU instance and halts billing. Your data remains on the instance. You can resume at any time to continue where you left off. No charges while paused.
Destroy
Permanently terminates the GPU instance and deletes all data — documents, chat history, model memory, and generated outputs. This action is irreversible. No further charges will be incurred for this vault.
Account Closure
If you wish to close your Obsidian account entirely, contact us at support@obsidian.expert. Before closing your account, please ensure all active vaults are destroyed. Upon account closure:
- Any running vaults will be destroyed and all associated data permanently deleted.
- Your account information will be removed from our systems.
- Any remaining prepaid balance may be refunded upon request (see our Refund Policy).
No Cancellation Fees
There are no cancellation fees, early termination charges, or penalties of any kind. You are free to stop using Obsidian at any time without cost.
