Service Description

Obsidian is a private document analysis platform operated by CYVERRA LTD. The platform provides dedicated GPU instances running open-source AI models for secure document analysis. Each vault is an isolated computing environment where your documents are processed locally on hardware reserved exclusively for you.

Accounts

To use Obsidian, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Obsidian to:

• Process, upload, or analyze illegal content or content that violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' vaults, accounts, or data.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the platform's infrastructure or other users' access.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform (excluding open-source components).
• Resell or redistribute access to the platform without authorization.
• Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable law.

Payment Terms

Obsidian uses a prepaid balance model. You add credit to your account using Visa or Mastercard. GPU time is billed per minute at the hourly rate for your chosen model tier. There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or minimum commitments. When your balance is insufficient, active vaults will be auto-paused. Consumed compute time is non-refundable. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the outputs generated within your vaults. Obsidian does not claim any ownership or license to your content. The Obsidian platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of CYVERRA LTD and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Data and Privacy

Your document content is never accessed, stored, or processed by our servers. All document processing occurs on your dedicated GPU instance. When you destroy a vault, all data is permanently deleted. For full details about how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CYVERRA LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before relying on it for professional, legal, medical, financial, or other decisions.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@obsidian.expert. Upon termination, all running vaults will be destroyed and all data permanently deleted. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and disclaimer of warranties survive termination.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales, save that either party may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect its confidential information or intellectual property.
