Payments Policy

Accepted Payment Methods
Obsidian accepts Visa and Mastercard for all transactions. Card details pass through our server to the payment processor and are never stored.
Prepaid Balance
Obsidian uses a prepaid balance model. You add credit to your account, and this balance is consumed as you use GPU resources. Each top-up can be any amount from $1.13 to $22,480.00 in the currency you choose. There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or minimum monthly commitments.
Per-Minute Billing
GPU time is billed per minute at the following hourly rates:
Insufficient Balance
At zero balance you can't start or resume a vault. When your balance can no longer cover the next minute, a running vault is paused automatically, so your balance doesn't go below zero. To resume a paused vault, add credit and restart it.
Currency
Your wallet balance and the hourly rates above are denominated in United States Dollars (USD). At checkout you may choose to be charged in USD, EUR, KZT, AZN, SAR, TRY, or JPY — the charge amount is converted from USD at published market exchange rates, refreshed once every 24 hours (if the rate service is unavailable, the last rates we received stay in use), and shown before you confirm the top-up. A top-up is €1 to €20,000, or its equivalent in the currency you pick at the day's rate, with the upper limit rounded down to a round figure so it never exceeds €20,000, and any amount in that range adds at least $1 to your balance. Your card issuer may still apply its own currency conversion fees on top of that if your card is denominated in a different currency.
Card Security
Card details are sent over TLS and pass through our server to the payment processor. They are never stored.

The Billing section of your dashboard shows your balance and this month's usage charges. For earlier records, email us.
